Third Time is the Charm
As a stalker of your Instagram site, I knew that if I ever got re-married, I wanted you all to design my rings. When Mike proposed to me at a P!nk concert, I knew where I wanted to go for our rings. Stacey did an amazing job taking our ideas and making them into a beautiful reality!
Mike and I met on Match.com. We had both been divorced and then widowed. While scrolling through pictures, I came across a man with a beautiful German Shepherd. I reached out and asked, “Is it OK if I am half in love with your dog?” That is how I met Mike (and Bruin). We started taking walks with his three dogs and then incorporated my dog into the mix. Of course, Kiki fell in love with Mike too. Animals are an important part of our lives. If we see a dog in public, we are those people who ask to pet and fawn over the pups. As our relationship deepened, we realized we wanted to blend our crew permanently. We moved to Elkton and our crew now consists of four pups and one sassy cat.
Who would have thought that when we found each other, we would share so much in common? Our lives followed a similar path and we bonded over dogs, coffee, and tea. It was meant to be!
As part of our wedding bands, we asked that paw prints were engraved on the inside of each band. In Bloom did a fantastic job of taking our ideas and creating some amazing rings! We will be getting married next May, and of course, the pups will be there. It is fitting that Bruin walks me down the aisle, along with our chihuahua Peeps. Kiki will stand up at the altar next to Mike and our newest puppy Dollie will bring the comic relief.
