    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Jewelry Designer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in custom fine jewelry design. The ideal candidate has a refined design aesthetic, advanced technical skills in sales, design and project management of custom work with a deep understanding of the end-to-end custom jewelry process—from concept to casting and final setting. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a collaborative studio environment, maintains meticulous attention to detail, and shares a passion for creating one-of-a-kind pieces that hold meaning and longevity.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design custom fine jewelry concepts in collaboration with clients and the design team.

    • Prepare design specifications, technical drawings, and production-ready details in client portfolio 

    • Manage design revisions through the full lifecycle—from client concept to finished piece.

    • Work closely with jewelers, stone setters, and CAD technicians to ensure precision and quality at every stage.

    • Maintain consistency with InBloom’s brand aesthetic and uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship.

    • Contribute creative input to in-house collections, design trends, and transformation projects.

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in custom jewelry design (fine jewelry required).

    • Proficiency in project management software, written and oral communication.

    • CAD experience a plus but not required (MatrixGold, Rhino, or similar).

    • Exceptional understanding of gemstones, goldsmithing processes, and casting workflows.

    • Strong sense of proportion, form, and luxury design aesthetics.

    • Excellent communication and client presentation skills.

    • Portfolio demonstrating a broad range of fine jewelry designs (upload or link required).

    • Degree or certification in Jewelry Design or a related field preferred.

    We are seeking a highly experienced Bench Jeweler with 7+ years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in stone setting, fine finishing, and hand engraving, with the ability to bring exceptional artistry and precision to our clients’ most treasured pieces.

     

    All pieces are produced in our InBloom Jewelry workshop and we do not resell work from outside vendors.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Custom Jewelry Fabrication:

    • Fabricate complex jewelry pieces by hand with precision and attention to detail

    • Execute advanced soldering, laser welding, forging, assembly, and related processes

    • Advanced Stone Setting:

    • Masterfully set diamonds and colored gemstones in a wide range of settings, including prong, bezel, channel, flush, and bead/pavé

    • Troubleshoot challenging settings and ensure stones are secure and aligned

    • Hand Engraving: a plus

    • Apply fine hand engraving to custom creations, heirloom transformations, and special projects

    • Collaborate with designers to incorporate engraving into custom layouts and personalizations

    • Fine Finishing & Polishing:

    • Deliver flawless finishing and polishing of fabricated and engraved pieces

    • Ensure all pieces meet the highest quality standards

    • Heirloom Transformations & Repairs:

    • Reimagine and rebuild heirloom jewelry while preserving client sentiment

    • Perform advanced repairs, restoration work, and resizing

    • Quality Control:

    • Inspect each piece for precision, durability, and aesthetic integrity before delivery

    • Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss accountability and growth opportunities

    • Workshop Excellence:

    • Maintain tools and workbench in excellent condition

    • Collaborate with all team members, including the design team, to manage a steady production schedule while executing beautifully crafted designs

    • Adapt to changing priorities and schedules to meet client and designer needs

     

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years of professional bench jeweler experience

    • Expert-level stone setting skills, including advanced and complex techniques

    • Proven hand engraving ability, with a portfolio/samples of previous work

    • Exceptional precision in finishing and polishing

    • Strong understanding of gold, platinum, and other precious metals

    • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and steady hand-eye coordination

    • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate in a custom, design-focused studio environment

    • CAD experience is a plus (not required)

    • Proactive in sharing skills, ideas, and techniques with the team to continuously improve processes
