Life Has Been a Tapestry

"My love story is two stories in one. When I moved to Frederick in 2016, I started following Stacey on social media and immediately felt a connection. After visiting Stacey for the first time, I was hooked and a beautiful friendship was formed. I was so honored to be one of the women Stacey asked to join her when she opened InBloom on Patrick Street and continue to be such a fan of Stacy and all that support her at InBloom. I will forever feel blessed to be part of InBloom’s history and Stacey’s friendship."

"Turning 70 this month is such a milestone, and in celebrating I asked Stacey to design my 70th birthday ring. Repurposing stones and gold that were purchased or given to me represents many moments in my life. The ring was launched with a naming contest and while so many of the entries touched my heart, and yes a few made me laugh out loud, my choice is a sentimental one. Meet Tapestry, suggested by my sister, Joy! Like all 17-year-old girls in 1971, Tapestry by Carole King played constantly on our turntable. My baby sister and I shared a room and, even though much younger than me, Joy loved this album as much as I did and eventually passed along this love to her two daughters, Jenn and Jill. As I revisited the words of Tapestry recently, I was as moved as I was at 17.

70 means different things to all of us but to me, it means another decade to do good, love hard, and live each day in joy. 'My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue - an everlasting vision of an ever changing view.'

Stacey and team, I will forever be grateful for this beautiful ring and all of your friendships."
