A Frederick Proposal

Morgan and Jake Manlove met during their junior year at West Virginia University. The two were introduced by mutual friends because somehow they had never met, despite living across the street from one another the first two years of school. Needless to say, it was a perfect match!

Before the pair began dating, Morgan warned Jake that they shouldn't get serious unless he was willing to move to Frederick. He said he was, and the two settled down here shortly after graduation. In the summer of 2020, after getting settled in the area, Jake popped the question to Morgan at the Carillon bell tower in Baker Park. She said yes!

Morgan and Jake's engagement kicked off a series of happy life events. In the summer of 2021, the two officially tied the knot. Two years later, they bought their first home near Downtown Frederick and brought home their dog, Poppy. Then, Morgan and Jake's lives were utterly transformed at the end of 2024, when they welcomed their beautiful daughter Kailey into the world.

The Manloves are the perfect picture of a Frederick family, and of an InBloom love story.
