Love and Care

Jewelry is worn on the body and therefore reflects the life of the wearer and her attention to it. Please store your silver InBloom Jewelry piece when unworn in your anti tarnish pouch.  All silver tarnishes over time but can be accelerated by the following conditions and substances, saltwater, humidity, chlorine, bleach, sulfur, rubber, perfumes, and lotions. Clean your silver piece with liquid non abrasive silver cleaner avoiding delicate pearls or stones by using a Q-tip.  Rinse thoroughly with warm water and dry completely. Clean gold and diamonds with warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush or cloth.  Drop your pieces in a glass of water and effervescent denture cleaner to clean deep within bezel settings and chain links.

The Production Process

After the original element is created in metal or wax by Stacey, the collection is fully developed in collaboration with the manufacturer, Richards and West in Rochester, New York www.rwmfg.com.  The skilled bench jewelers and artisans at Richards and West then carefully craft each piece, one at a time by hand.  This process unfolds first with a wax injection in the mold made from the original element.  These waxes are cast in silver and gold and then each element is carefully filed and sanded and checked for any details and flaws.  They are then polished, stones and pearls set and assembled on chains or coils. Every effort is made to attend to the finest of detail.  Stacey personally approves each piece for quality and craftsmanship.

Conscious Consumption

Jewelry is made from silver, gold and gemstones mined from the earth and pearls harvested from the sea.  We acknowledge the many hands, from across the globe that harvest, mine, cut, polish, process, package and ship these raw materials before they arrive to me and then onto you.  Many people’s lives and communities are affected in many layers. We use the least amount of packaging possible with recycled materials and recycle ourselves. We are committed to buying metal and materials from reputable companies and being the least wasteful possible.   We chose our manufacturer in Rochester, New York because of their attention to detail and their respectful policies and workplace. We are always open to suggestions, feedback and ingenuity in these matters.  May we all consume respectfully and consciously. Thank you.
